Join us for a night to celebrate the accomplishments of Project HIP-HOP. For more than 10 years Project HIP-HOP has been working with young people to create a new generation of change agents in Boston. We want you to learn more about what we do and celebrate with us.Jazz Urbane PhotoGREAT ENTERTAINMENT – The youth of Project HIP-HOP who will perform their song “Breathe” which is currently in a competiion to be performed at the Rio Earth Summit in June. You will also be serenaded by the sounds of Jazz Urbane a jazz fusion band led by composer, guitarist, and Berklee professor Bill Banfield. Bill has recently returned from the debut of his latest peice which was commissioned by the National Symphony Orchestra and peformed at the Kennedy Center by Sweet Honey in the Rock.Flash Mob PhotoSUPPORTING YOUNG PEOPLE  - The most important part of the night is that we are working to raise money to support Project HIP-HOP’s summer program. This powerful programming allows young people to learn about what is going on in their community and create art that inspires others to take action. The summer culminates with a trip to the South to learn about the Civil Rights Movement and to meet with the activists that put their lives on the line to change our country. 

We are expecting a great crowd. So we hope you can join us. If you can’t make it, we hope that you will at least consider a donation to support Project HIP-HOP for the next 10 years.
